About Sally
Licensing Artwork
I am an artist and illustrator working today in the creation and development of new products for the gift and home decor industries. I paint images depicting nature in a traditional manner with a contemporary feel. Using watercolor and pencil, and through delicate blending of rich color, intricate patterns and distinctive borders, my designs reveal art and nature are one. While my inspiration comes from nature and natural objects, my look is current and trend driven.
Currently, I work and paint at my studio in Jensen Beach, FL, where I also sell a selection of home decor products produced with my licensed designs.
Hometown
My interest in art began as a child growing up in Indiana. After completing my BFA in painting from Miami University in Ohio, I gained commercial experience as an illustrator and creative director in design and corporate marketing in Indianapolis. After having two children, and wanting to go out on my own, I created the licensing and marketing division of my business, Sally Eckman Roberts Designs.
Bamboo Table Dinnerware
In January of 2018, Sally and her husband launched Bamboo Table - a line of eco-friendly dinnerware made of bamboo! All of the artwork is created by Sally and the dinnerware line is currently being sold wholesale across the country.
